Automatic Payment

Set up automatic payment from your checking or savings account.   This is a free service.  You will continue to receive your monthly bill and will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the due date. Simply fill out THIS form and send it in with a voided check.  There are no charges for this option.

Visit Xenia's office at 23998 141st Street in Bouton, IA during the business hours of 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.,

Monday - Friday.  Please be sure to bring your remit stub.  We accept cash, money order and checks.  VISA or MasterCard debit/credit cards also accepted at no charge in the office.


Credit/Debit Card - Online Bill Pay through E-Bill Express   

Xenia Rural Water District has partnered with Wells Fargo to offer our customers the opportunity to pay their monthly bill with a credit/debit card or e-check.  Visa and MasterCard are accepted.  Wells Fargo applies a convenience fee of $1.50 for each transaction.  The District does not benefit from assessment of this fee.  To pay your bill online, click HERE . Payments online will generate an email to you to confirm payments. To pay your bill by phone, please call our office during regular business hours (888) 355-2619.



Xenia's partnership with Wells Fargo also allows our customers to go green and view your statements online.  Sign up HERE  today to access your statement and also pay your water bill online.  Email alerts you that your statement is ready to view.

Drop box

A 24-hour drop box is located near the driveway entrance at our office. Payments made after hours will be processed the next business day. Payments are collected out of the box once daily at 8:00 a.m. and posted that same day.  Please be sure to include your remit stub with your payment.



If you will be gone for an extended period of time during the winter months, we recommend that you have Xenia staff turn off the water at the meter. With the water off, you will avoid water loss and high usage if the service line (pipe carrying water into your home) breaks or leaks.


To arrange for the service, for which there is no charge, call our office at least 24 hours prior to your departure and our staff will turn the water off. To restore your service, just call at least 24 hours before your return and Xenia will have the water service turned on when you get back.


This service is only available during our regular business hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, not on weekends or after hours, so please plan accordingly.


You will continue to receive a minimum bill during your absence and we suggest signing up for ACH payments. This is a great payment option to maintain your account during your absence. As a final reminder, be sure to let us know if you change your billing address while you are away.
