How could I have used this much water?

Leaks are not an uncommon occurance for water services.  For most services, there is a long service line running from the meter pit to the home, which could leak.  You could possibly have a leaky toilet or faucet that's difficult to detect. Just call the office and we'll work with you to solve the problem.

What do I do if I am experiencing low pressure?

If you experience low pressure at your home, please call our office to ensure that there is not a current leak on Xenia's distribution system.  Low pressure at your service could mean your pressure regulator is malfuctioning and needs to be replaced.

Why is my water discolored?

If discoloration occurs, run the COLD water at one faucet for about 5 minutes, and you should see the water clear. (Running the hot water pulls from the water heater, which could make the problem worse.) If the water fails to clear after 5 minutes, wait for a few hours and again try running only the cold water. If the water is still discolored, contact our office and we will look at the issue more closely.

Why does debris come out of the faucet when running hot water?

Most likely your water heater needs to be flushed. CAUTION: Most manufacturers recommend hiring a professional to flush your water heater. If you plan on doing this yourself, read the owner's manual to keep from being hurt and or damaging the water heater.

Why do I have a previous balance when I know I sent in my payment?

We may have received it after the due date or we may not have received it at all. Call our office and we will help you solve the problem.
